Legislative Action Center: Keeping two on the crew.
We're marching to get Congress or the Federal Railroad Administration to mandate two-person crews and the U.S. Senate needs our attention. We need active members, retirees and friends and family to take action. We passed a two-person mandate in the U.S. House a few weeks ago as part of the INVEST in America Act. Now we need you to get in touch with the offices of your senators and leave messages about how a conductor and engineer on the crew are essential to rail safety, how the INVEST Act preserves that safety, and how you support the INVEST Act. We need to keep the pressure on. Now is the time.
The Legislative Action Center is now open. There are pre-written messages you can use or you can speak in your own words about keeping two on the crew.
